FACEMAN / FAQ
Questions about facial analysis
What to know before uploading photos or interpreting a Faceman report.
What is Faceman?
Faceman is a web and Telegram Mini App for analyzing facial proportions and appearance from photos. It combines geometric measurements with reference-based feature ratings. FaceIQ can summarize completed ratings when scoring is enabled.
Which photos do I need?
Add at least one clear front-view or profile photo, or both. Use a neutral expression, even lighting and no beauty filters. A report cannot evaluate features that require a view you have not supplied.
What is FaceIQ?
FaceIQ combines harmony, traits, angularity and dimorphism, with category weights and an adjustment for differences between category scores. It requires completed applicable ratings and enabled scoring. It is not an intelligence test, medical diagnosis or measure of personal worth.
How do manual and AI-assisted ratings differ?
In manual filling, you compare features with visual references and select Tier ratings. With AI-assisted filling, an AI provider performs the reference comparison when the feature is available. In both cases, the Faceman engine calculates the final score.
Is FaceIQ an objective attractiveness test?
No. It summarizes selected photographs and reference-based assessments under Faceman’s scoring rules. It is not a validated universal beauty score or population percentile. Different services and different photos cannot be treated as one calibrated scale.
Can I find my face shape from a photo?
A front view with usable outline landmarks can produce a heuristic face-shape category. It compares facial height and widths and has limited confidence. A profile alone or missing outline points can leave the result unavailable. The category does not recommend a hairstyle or establish attractiveness.
Does Faceman give a validated facial-symmetry percentage?
No. Available landmark-based measurements can help inspect a photograph, but a shape category or FaceIQ score is not a validated percentage of symmetry. Head pose, expression, lighting and point placement must be checked before comparing sides.
How much does analysis cost?
Current plans, access limits and the conditions for AI-assisted filling are shown in the application before purchase or launch. Check that screen for the current offer; this page does not quote a fixed price.
Can a different selfie change the result?
Yes. Camera distance, lens perspective, head position, expression, lighting and landmark placement can change measurements and ratings. Compare results only with those differences in mind.
Are my photos sent to an AI provider?
If you choose AI-assisted filling, the confirmation screen names the configured provider and asks for consent to send the current analysis photos and references. Manual filling does not make that transfer. The privacy policy describes the service’s broader data processing.
How can I ask about my data?
The privacy policy explains your rights to request access, correction or deletion where applicable. Use the support and contact details linked below for data-related requests.
Can Faceman diagnose a condition or recommend surgery?
No. Photo-based appearance analysis is not a medical examination. Faceman’s scores should not be used to diagnose a condition or decide on medical, dental or surgical treatment. Consult a qualified clinician for those questions.
